Winners of Nu Skin’s “Keep Your Age a Mystery” photo challenge were selected from more than 1,500 contestants in nearly 50 countries who use ageLOC skin care products and submitted photos and essays about how they defy their age and embody the Nu Skin spirit of “living young.”

“This challenge celebrates Nu Skin’s brand promise to demonstrate its difference through its people, products, culture and opportunity, and our three ‘Fresh Faces’ of ageLOC winners from Singapore, Germany and Japan certainly exemplify what ageLOC products have to offer,” said Dan Chard, Nu Skin president of global sales and operations. “Not only are ageLOC skin care products enhancing the youthful of appearance of our customers, but our new ageLOC Vitality nutritional supplement is helping more people continue to enjoy a youthful lifestyle, and Nu Skin’s business opportunity can provide a rewarding income at every age.”

Nu Skin partnered with New York-based Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. for the challenge. “‘Keep Your Age a Mystery’ was a successful undertaking and represents the largest global challenge we ever have executed,” said Suzanne Gulbransen, senior vice president of DJA. “We were very impressed with the global representation of applicants and the caliber of each entry. Challenge winners were selected based on their youthful appearance relevant to their actual age, among other criteria outlined in the official rules. Weekly winners in each region were selected as finalists. More than 1,500 entered the challenge and nearly 300 regional winners were named throughout the 12-week period.

“Keep Your Age a Mystery” Challenge Winners

Amy Yip, 50, from Singapore, was named the grand prize winner and will enjoy a luxury vacation for two and a digital camera. She is a dedicated user of Nu Skin ageLOC products and says it is now a common occurrence to have her children mistaken for her siblings. Yip became a Nu Skin distributor in 1993. Prior to starting her Nu Skin business, Yip and her husband Gary had distinguished careers in investment banking in Tokyo and Hong Kong. According to Yip, “Our Nu Skin business enables us to have a wholesome and complete life with better health, the flexibility to enjoy our lives and financial freedom.”

Gabriele Boyd, 42, from Switzerland, was named as the first prize winner and will enjoy a luxury cruise for two and a digital camera. She attributes her young-looking skin to Nu Skin’s premier anti-aging skin care system, ageLOC Transformation. “Not only do the products give your skin a bright look, they also make you look younger,” said Boyd. “My skin just feels great.”

Kimura Yayoi-san, 54, from Japan, was named second prize winner and will receive a weekend spa or golf getaway for two as well as a digital camera. Yayoi-san joined Nu Skin as a distributor in 1990 and has become a top sales leader. She lives and works in Tokyo where she recently opened an office to host product demonstrations.
